lyrics
Frightened out of sleep, try to find my eyes. Hammered in the skull with a digital light. He’s got hands for feet, something isn’t right. Is this reality? His face looks just like mine.
Staring down the valley. The difference is perceived. Staring down the valley. Mistaking you for me.
It’s a long way down
Boiling my brain, I’m not sure what is real. There’s a man inside my phone and he tells me how to feel. I try to get a job, I try to pay the bills. But I can’t get ahead while I’m falling down the hill.
I love this demo. It's like early Oxblood, but from rural Alabama. The guitarist was in a band called Jackpot Justice that I used to see all the time when I was a kid. Lost Legion

This is one of those albums where I have a different favourite track every week, and it's been like that since the release that is now a year ago. What a massive album, starting out with fist pumping chants and gradually getting more electro but always with that punk grit attitude. Top 3 of 2023. Gijs van Soest

Hmmm. I thought maybe there was a brief nod on “Security” to The Effigies song of the same name. Probably a coincidence. Looking forward to the new LP! Joe
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
